Atlanta metalcore act Attila wrapped up their Australian tour over the weekend, culminating with a gig at the YMCA HQ in Perth during which frontman Chris Fronzak once again displayed his penchant for controversy.

As GunShyAssassin reports, the band’s performance on Sunday night descended into chaos after Fronzak attacked a crowd member, believing they were attempting to drag him off of the stage and assault him.

However, Fronzak eventually realised that he had retaliated against the wrong patron and issued an apology. “Some asshole assaulted me on stage in Perth tonight and I let my anger get the best of me,” Fronzak later tweeted.

“But anyways, when I went to retaliate I hit the wrong dude on accident. If you’re the dude with the bleeding head, I want to apologise. I didn’t mean to hit you with my mic, I meant to hit the cuntbag that was assaulting me. Anyways, you can have all the free merch you want!”

“So if you’re the dude with the bleeding head and you’re reading this, go to our merch table and take anything you want. I apologise,” Fronzak continued. “To the fuckboi that tried to fuck with me on stage… SUCK MY FUCK.”

In the footage embedded below, readers can see chaos erupt after Fronzak assaults one of the crowd members before declaring the show to be over and storming off stage. According to reports on social media, the band did eventually return to play some more songs.

“I definitely have mental issues, I am full blown insane,” Fronzak later wrote on Twitter. “Someone fucking tried ripping me off the stage and assaulting me and I fucking retaliated and hit the wrong homie… Fuck.”

“Perth – you were AMAZING tonight, and I apologize for my anger problems and fuck that douchebag that tried fucking with me,” he continued. “My microphone has a piece of human scalp in it right now, fuck… Damnit.”

“No one is perfect. Everyone has problems. Also, still don’t know who the fuck the person that actually ripped me off stage & attacked me last night was. I hit them too though, fuckem.”
