Today (April 21st) marks the two year anniversary of one of Australia’s most important and influential rock legends, frontwoman of the Divinyls – Chrissie Amphlett, and to celebrate the life and legacy of the rock n’ roll royal a bunch of extremely talented local musos have come together to produce Divinyls Reworked.
Divinyls Reworked is a collaborative tribute album featuring names such as Vaudeville Smash, Remi, and Bertie Blackman each paying tribute to the band. It is an absolute celebration of genre cross-pollination and part tribute to the great Australian rock n roll band lead by the fearless Chrissy Amphlett.
This Friday the 24th April the collective featured on the album will be performing a very special show at The Gaso in Collingwood (Melbourne) from which proceeds from the night will be donated to Breast Cancer Network and MS Society, for more info visit the Facebook event.
