A year ago we profiled a Melbourne producer Andrei Eremin, and we reported that “you might not immediately recognise Andrei Eremin by name alone, but you’ve undoubtedly heard his enormously successful catalogue of work.” These days if you’re a self-respecting Aussie indie music fan, Eremin’s name has no doubt become synonymous with a huge bunch of your favourite records.

Having spent most of his musical career behind the mixing desks and mentioned in the liner notes, today the taste-making producer has released an EP to his name. Titled Recycling (2013-2015) the EP is a bundle of remixes to be released free of charge via Bandcamp.

Featuring remixes from regular co-conspirators such as Fractures (with whom they together created Ghosts), Milwaukee Banks (for whom Eremin has remixed a number of killer tracks), the five track release showcases both Andrei’s dexterity and distinct style, opening with the previously unreleased bootleg edit of Juicy J Feat. Nicki Minaj, Lil Bibby & Young Thug ‘Low’, and closing with the also previously unreleased Rat & Co remix of the down temp gem Ghosts.

Named as one of Tone Deaf’s records to get excited about this month Recycling (2013-2015) is definitely worth a stream, and if you dig what you’re hearing be sure to pop by www.andreieremin.bandcamp.com for your free download.
