The weekend just passed was a busy one for music lovers, not only was it Record Store Day, but there was also a massive sale of gig posters and other music paraphernalia from Melbourne’s fallen venue, The Palace, but don’t worry if you missed out (or have a heavy wallet) – there’s another music poster sale happening.

This time ’round the poster party, Plastered, is hosted by the guys at The Old Bar in Melbourne which will run from the Tuesday 28 April through to Saturday 9 May.

As the Facebook Event reads, there’s “a small selection from a colossal collection of music posters for your viewing and purchasing pleasure” from the treasure trove of Nick Vukovic, the legend who put together the incredible poster book, Plastered, the great man having collected musical art over the past 40 years, some of which are said to be extremely rare.

Items up for sale include gig and album covers from The Meanies, Johnny Cash, Midnight Oil and The Screaming Jets, just to name a very short few.

As The Old Bar loves everything about music, the opening night of this killer poster sale will see a slew of bands perform, headlined by Swamplands who will be supported by the likes of Fingerbone Bill and Damon Smith, which’ll only cost you $6.00 to enter.

For any further information, jump over to the Facebook Event and click attending so you don’t forget – or if you’re old fashioned, head to The Old Bar’s website for the finers.
