While 2015 seems to be passing us by extra quick (can you believe it’s nearly May already?), the next instalment of Falls Festival is still quite a few months away. Even so, it looks as though we may have just received our first Falls Festival 2015 lineup leak.

Speaking recently to Triple J‘s Veronica and Lewis, Django Django drummer David Maclean revealed, “[We’re] pencilled in to do the same thing we did a couple years ago, sort of come over in New Year time.”

“We’re all very keen to do it, have a little surfing holiday thrown in there too – like last time,” he continued. “Watch this space for January 2016.” The band previously toured Australia back in 2013 as part of that year’s Falls Festival.

MacLean recently discussed the band’s upcoming Australian trip with FasterLouder, saying, “There’s talk of [touring] early next year. We’re trying to put a plan together. Watch this space.

They last toured Australia in early 2013 with the Falls Festival and MacLean says the band is keen to repeat the trip. “There’s talk of [touring] early next year,” he told FL. “We’re trying to put a plan together. Watch this space. Your summer.”

“We came over summer two years ago and played over New Year and took surfing lessons and all that so that’s what we’re dying to do again; do that same run. Fingers crossed it will happen,” MacLean added.

With the band all but confirmed for Falls Festival, which takes place over the New Year’s period each year, Django Django will be making their way Down Under to tout their second album, Born Under Saturn, which is slated for release Friday, 1st May.
