The wait is finally over. Last week, the organisers of Splendour In The Grass 2015 gave punters across Australia reason to celebrate when they dropped an absolutely mammoth lineup, featuring the likes of Blur, Florence + The Machine, Mark Ronson, Of Monsters & Men, and many more.

Australians seemed to like what they saw, with tickets officially selling out just an hour after going on sale yesterday. Those who missed out can still use organisers’ ticket resale facility, which will be available via Mosthix from 1st June.

Of course, if you’re just looking for some one on one time with your favourite Splendour acts, there’s always the sideshows and boy does this year’s offering look good, with headline dates from Blur, The Wombats, Of Monsters & Men, Best Coast, Purity Ring, and many more.

Blur

It’s been 18 years since Blur, one of the most influential and successful British bands of the past two decades, have visited Australian shores, but the wait has been well worth it and now fans will get to see the Britpop icons live at three very special Splendour sideshows.

Armed with a brand new album, The Magic Whip, Blur will be taking crowds through one of the most treasured discographies in British music. Joining the band will be acclaimed songwriter and garage vanguard Jamie T, who’ll be opening on all dates of Blur’s sideshow tour.

Ryan Adams and his band The Shining will treat Australia and New Zealand to two highly anticipated headline shows this July. Joining him will be very special guest, acclaimed singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis, who will support all of Adams’ Australian shows.
