Chet Faker’s a man who just can’t seem to stop kicking goals. From absolutely dominating the world’s biggest music poll, to raved-about performances at Coachella, the Melbourne songsmith is going from strength to strength. The latest highlight on his CV? A blistering performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

As Rolling Stone recently noted in their profile of the bearded Aussie favourite, in addition to a short run of post-Coachella shows, Faker’s performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be one of his last public appearances before he takes some well-earned time off and maybe even pens some new tunes.

Naturally, he wanted to ensure that it was one to remember and he more than delivered, getting the Kimmel crowd gathered for one of the talk show host’s popular free street concerts hyped up and even showing off some of his rarely seen dance moves as he performed renditions of his singles ‘1998’ and ‘Gold’.

It was hardly Faker’s first US television performance, having won over millions of US housewives with an appearance on Ellen back in January. So naturally, winning over Jimmy Kimmel fans was a piece of cake for the homegrown maestro, who soulfully crooned his way into the crowd’s hearts.
