Melbourne vocalist, multi instrumentalist, producer and figure behind Doctrin, (aka Dolly Denko) has just today dropped the stunning new video for her equally as stunning single ‘Take Me’.

Planning to relocate from Melbourne to Los Angeles after a successful US West Coast tour in 2014, the origins of the video for ‘Take Me’ began upon her return from the US, Dolly began writing the story line for the debut single ‘Take Me’, which she produced and co-directed with DOP Dillon Pearce.

Denko explains the message behind the release “When I wrote the track, I was trying to overcome some negative feelings that were creeping in. At the time I was going through a huge Charmed binge and saw an episode about a demon that made people focus on dark negative thoughts. I had always seen a body of water and being tied up trying to escape for the video clip but adding the demon, and my friends to help kill him, perfectly portrayed what I was feeling with the lyrics”.

If you like what you’re hearing pop by Doctrin’s Facebook page, and be sure to catch her performance at The Evelyn Hotel on Friday May the 15th before she heads off to the US.
