At the beginning of the year, two of the most acclaimed and powerful rock and roll entities in Australia announced that they’re going their own way and hitting the road for a massive tour, but with one very unique twist: they called for any and all Aussie bands with female members to apply as a support act, to which they’ve announced the brilliant winners.
The competition was tough, with more than 250 artists vying for the much sought after slots, with successful support acts chosen by an industry panel made up of She Who Rocks promoters, Social Family Records, Baby Animals, and The Superjesus, with 10 artists receiving the good news that they are one of the bands that will be part of this year’s She Who Rocks tour.

The Perth winners of the competition will see The JoyEvelation and Legs Electric perform, whilst Melbourne will be charmed by the likes of Tequila Mockingbyrd and Aimee Francis.
Heading up the East Coast sees Bonney Read take the stage in Wollongong, whilst Sydney will bare witness to BandInTexas, with Brizzy experiencing Valhalla Lights.
Shooting down to Adelaide, Squeaker and Mere Machine will have their chance to perform, and last but very much least will see RedHook play in Hobart.
This is hugely exciting for not only all the participating bands, but for all the lucky punters who will get to experience some of Australia’s freshest talent taking to the big stage.
