Following a successful inaugural event last year, the Wide Eyed Live annual music photography exhibition is coming back with a stacked exhibition for Volume Two, featuring 12 of Sydney’s best music photographers.

Arranged by the photographers showcased, including a few of Tone Deaf’s finest photogs, Wide Eyed Live Vol Two is a retrospective of the music they’ve shot between October 2014 and March 2015.

The photos have been featured in online and print publications, locally, nationally, and internationally. “This is the Live Music in Sydney and we want to show it to the world,” write organisers in a statement.

The opening night for Volume One back in May 2014 drew a packed house, with the Sydney venue at capacity (250+ patrons over the course of the night), and organisers received fantastic feedback from industry figures, photography pros, as well as Head On Photo Festival representatives.

This year will see the exhibition take over Somedays Gallery in Surry Hills, as part of the Associated Artists of Head On Photo Festival 2015. Those attending will see the walls splayed with images of Australia’s vibrant, colourful, and often crazy live scene.

Music fans are invited to attend and check out some of the finest examples of music photography that Australia has to offer from some of the scene’s most talented shutterbugs. Check out an example of what to expect below.
