The 2015 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas have wrapped up, with celebs more than likely making their way to after-parties to continue the celebrations whilst we all sit back with quite possibly the weirdest video of Kanye West’s performance, which was pretty much entirely bleeped out.

Dr. West (yup, he has doctorate now) was invited by the folk at Billboard to perform at the show, which saw the rapper drop a medley of ‘All Day’ and ‘Black Skinhead’, not that anyone not there in person would know.

As Pitchfork reports, West’s nearly six minute performance, which was introduced by his sisters in-law of Kylie and Kendal Jenner who were boo’d, was heavily censored, with multiple parts of the closing performance in radio silence for nearly over 15-seconds at a time.

Take a look at Kanye jump around on a fierce stage of sparks and lights in mute mode, it’s kind of hilarious – but more so bizarre, why on earth would Billboard and ABC agree to having West perform knowing that they’d be force to bleep out the vast majority of his short set? Maybe it was just technical difficulties…

And naturally, the internet is taking very well to this, for example the guys at Pigeons and Planes posting the heard lyrics of West’s performance:

In other Billboard Music Award news, the major victor for the evening was of course Taylor Swift, Sam Smith and One Direction, who all walked away with armfuls of trophies, whilst Australia’s expat Iggy Azalea also cleaning up with three awards.
