In today’s volatile and cutthroat music industry, it’s important for bands to network, shake the right hands, know the right people, market themselves appropriately, know their demographic, and always be closing. You know, band stuff.

Without the right amount of synergy and interfacing, even the most dynamic band could get lost in the busy modern marketplace. You have to ensure that when you’re touching base with people, they’ll remember you. Just ask DZ Deathrays.

The noisy Brisbane duo recently shared one of their old business cards on their official Instagram account and we must say, it’s perfect. The subtle off-white colouring, the tasteful font, and the totally badass sports car are like a memorable billboard in your hand.

“Just found an old business card of ours in the back of my wallet,” the band wrote on Instagram. We don’t know what their current card looks like, but you’d be hard-pressed to find a better way to market yourself than by declaring as soon as you meet someone that you’re a “professional face-melter”.

Just found an old business card of ours in the back of my wallet. #businessasusual #synergy
