Attention fans of the mighty ’90s, one of the most important figures of the alternative rock movement is gracing our shores this year – we speak of course of the one and only, Chris Cornell.

The 50 year-old rocker is returning to Australia this November/December for a handful of shows around the nation, unplugging his amps to perform entirely acoustic sets.

The tour will provide fans the chance to see Cornell plays songs from throughout his entire career, as well as new songs from his highly anticipated forthcoming studio album in an up close and personal setting.

Cornell is an innovator who transcends genre.  He was one of the chief architects of the ’90s grunge movement and retains one of the best rock voices of all time.  Achieving multi-platinum success with three legendary bands, Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog – and in the process selling more than 30 million records worldwide – he has forged his own unique identity over three decades as an iconic and universally acclaimed songwriter, guitarist, composer and lyricist.

This is the perfect opportunity to see one of the finest rockers in a completely different setting, Tickets for all shows go on sale at 10am, Monday 1 June, with a special presale available for My Live Nation members beginning Thursday 28 May, at 9:00am for Brisbane and midday for all other shows.
