After being hailed for their blistering performance at Triple J’s 2014 One Night Stand after-party and dropping the attention commanding single ‘Smoke Screen’, Melbourne rockers White Summer have been working hard behind the scenes writing new music and gigging locally.

Having spent the last 12 or so few months sharing stages with local rock legends DMAs, Kingswood, The Delta Riggs, Harts and Stonefield, the band recently the guys bunkered down in rural NSW to record their new EP at Grove Studios with producer, Burke Reid (The Drones, Seekae, Courtney Barnett, and DZ Deathrays).

‘I Know a Place We Can Love’ is the first taste of the band’s new recording sessions and it’s nothing short of what we’ve come to know and love from the four piece. Packed with stomping beats, a rollicking rhythm, distorted guitar tones and a whole lot of swagger – further heightened by Jimmy Stanfield’s commanding vocals it’s an aural treat for excited Aussie rock fans, check it out below and catch the guys on their national tour this June.
