If you’re anything like us, you’re probably still recovering from the mayhem that was Mötley Crüe’s last ever Aussie tour which saw their pal Alice Cooper, however we’ve got another treat for all you heavy and glam rock fans out there, Def Leppard are coming to Australia this year.

The unmistakable UK hair metal outfit are making their way Down Under this November, performing a slew of shows around the nation and they’ve enlisted a massive touring partner, alt-rockers, LIVE.

Since 1992, the band has consisted of Joe Elliott (lead vocals), Rick Savage (bass, backing vocals), Rick Allen (drums, backing vocals), Phil Collen (guitar, backing vocals) and Vivian Campbell (guitar, backing vocals), the quintet continually spiking the same level of rowdy debauchery on each revered tour they make, performing hits ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’, ‘Photograph’ and ‘Hysteria’, and this Spring they want you to “get rocked” with them.

Warming the stage for the iconic stars are LIVE, the US four-piece responsible for the unforgettable ’90s anthems including ‘Lighting Crashes’, ‘All Over You’ and ‘I Alone’, who will debut to Australia for the very first time, their new vocalist as of 2012, Chris Shinn.

Not only that, but Baby Animals will support the tour in both Sydney and Perth, with Electric Mary taking care of the Melbourne stop.

Tickets go on sale Thursday 11 June, with VIP packages including opportunities to meet the band available through Ticketek, with Fan Club presales available from Monday 1 June (midday) to Wednesday 3 June (5.00pm).
