Sydney’s indie rockers Love Parade have just dropped ‘Pretend’ the lead single from the group’s second album titled Shake On The Mission.

Out May 30th Shake On The Mission was produced, engineered and encouraged by Jay Whalley (Frenzal Rhomb) at the Pet Food Factory in Sydney.

With driving guitars and an undeniably hooky chorus, ‘Pretend’ is the follow on from the band’s 2013 debut LP King Me. Having been compared to The Replacements, The Knack, The Sunnyboys, The Modern Lovers and a number of other bands who play sloppy pop music about feelings, cities, heartbreak, and all that kinda noise, Love Parade are definitely worth getting familiar with.

Upcoming Tour Dates

May 30: Yarra Hotel, Melbourne
May 31: Town Hall Hotel, Sydney
June 13: Lass O’ Gowrie, Newcastle
June 20: Blackwire Records, Sydney
July 23: Rad, Wollongong
