It’s been a week to the day since Tame Impala shared their video for ”Cause I’m A Man’, the first single to be taken from Currents, the band’s third studio album and one of the most highly anticipated releases of the year.
We may have mentioned how it reminded us a lot of a ’90s Windows screensaver and to be honest, it really did look like one. We thought perhaps they got the team behind Saturday morning animated staple Reboot to animate it for them.
Well it looks like the band may have heard our well-meaning jokes and have now unleashed an entirely new music video and it we must say, it’s pretty awesome, but hey, we’ve got a soft spot for anything to do with puppets.
As you can see below, the video features puppet versions of each of the band members performing ”Cause I’m A Man’ and they look uncannily like the real band members – even the puppet Kevin isn’t wearing any puppet shoes.
