‘When It All Bleeds Out’ is the stunning brand new single from MT Warning, aka singer songwriter Mikey Bee. Taken from the forthcoming EP Petrified Heart set for release July 10 via Create/Control, ‘When It All Bleed Out’ is a passionate driving three minutes of soulful indie rock.
Swirling both finger-picking guitar with indie rock melody and awash with waves of electronic soundscapes underlying the haunting howl of forlorn lyrics, this is one of MT Warning’s most emotive efforts yet.
Giving a little insight to the single, MT Warning says of the track ‘Truth has no advisors, truth has no game plane. When it goes unobserved little pieces fall from you til there’s no pieces left. When It All Bleeds Out is an observation of that notion, waking up to what you really want and standing up for your truth, no matter the consequence.’
The forthcoming EP Petrified Heart was written and recorded by Bee in a garage studio in his hometown of Byron Bay. A lesson in enjoying a solitary existence, Bee explained the process as “I needed to face myself alone and work by myself alone. I needed to dance by myself alone. I wanted to hear my own voice as it naturally sounds and make music that moves me, both in tempo and emotion”.
