Melbourne electro masters Winterplan are today premiering their brand new debut LP titled Fight/Flight out this Friday the 19th of June.

Released via the band’s own Rodian Records label, Fight/Flight combines modern day indie influences The Knife while referencing the more retro sounds of Kraftwerk to create a post-millennial electronic hybrid of sounds.

Formed around the song-writing partnership of Dave Tran, Julia Boyle, Clara Tran and Pip MacKay, the band’s ‘winter plan’ fully took off in 2011 when the members arrived back in their hometown of Melbourne after separate stints of living abroad.

Teetering on progressive and nostalgic electro Fight/Flight is an impressive release from the trio, we cannot wait to see what they have in store for the future.

To celebrate the release of  Fight/Flight, the band will be embarking on a short national tour visiting Brisbane and Sydney and wrapping up in their hometown of Melbourne. Check out the tour dates below, and if you like what you hear be sure to visit the band’s Facebook page.
