‘North Of Nowhere’ is the stunning single and moving video from alt-country singer songwriter Ayleen O’Hanlon.

The second cut from O’Hanlon’s upcoming debut album, Blend and Spill (out July 27th) ‘North Of Nowhere’ is a  cinematic ode to the childhood  experience of growing up in small-town Australia. As Ayleen explains, “I wrote North of Nowhere in a state of longing, wanting to escape back to a simpler time, while grappling with the present.”

It’s a glimmering folk gem, with one of the most beautifully shot videos we’ve seen all year. Directed by documentary film-maker James Arneman of Sunlander Films (with cinematography by Stuart Mannion), the video was shot over one weekend in Castlemaine, Victoria, and features stunning performances by two young Melbourne actors, who play best friends in the clip.

Check out the video below and if you like what you’re hearing be sure to pre-order the album through PledgeMusic. For more info visit Ayleen’s facebook page here.
