Funny or Die had a lot of fun at Bonnaroo. Many of you will have seen the video of their correspondent chatting with the lineup about their most hated interview questions. Well, the staffers weren’t the only ones having a blast.

The folks at Funny or Die invited four Bonnaroo first-timers to accompany them to the farm this year and documented their experiences. Each was an area local in their 70s and the result was a video that will make you laugh and warm your heart.

Denny from Tennessee is the one who partied the hardest, sleeping through breakfast because he was dancing too hard at the silent disco. Meanwhile, Isolde went so hard at Kendrick Lamar she walked away almost deaf and joked that she’d be “high as a kite when I walk home tonight”.

There’s also Anne and Neil, an absolutely wonderful couple who enjoyed their first Bonnaroo together, even roping Mumford & Sons into giving their grandchildren a call. Our favourite moment is when Neil gets caught napping backstage.
