Listen Out have had enough trouble as it is, what with their stacked 2015 lineup leaking hours ahead of their scheduled release time. But it looks like hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, one of the event’s main draws, are committed to giving organisers a hard time.
According to TMZ, who managed to track down the duo’s rider, Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy have some rather unique requests for any promoter looking to get them on stage. For starters, they’re after fast food that you can no longer actually get in Australia.
Food requests include two dozen chicken wings and two Spicy Crunch Dorito Tacos from Taco Bell. They wash that down with two bottles of Ace of Spades Champagne, two bottles of Moet Chandon Champagne, and one bottle of Hennessy.
However, it’s the “entertainment” section of their rider where things get interesting. The hit-making rappers request they be transferred from the airport, into which they flew first class, in a 15-passenger van fitted with a stripper pole.
Meanwhile, in their dressing room they request $300 in single dollar bills (might be a little hard considering our paper currency begins at $5), beach balls, and small Super Soakers. We don’t know what kind of party they’ve got planned, but it sounds like a good time.
It’s certainly much more lavish than One Direction’s tour rider, which read like the script for a film adaptation of Richie Rich. Of course when it comes to backstage tour riders, everyone’s pales in comparison to Iggy Pop, who officially has the best.
