The organisers of BIGSOUND 2015 have just made this year’s eagerly anticipated event that much more massive by bolstering their speakers lineup with another raft of big industry stakeholders, including Marc Geiger of William Morris Endeavour and Pitchfork’s Jessica Hopper, who’ll be delivering keynote addresses.

If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know that BIGSOUND, one of Australia’s most prestigious annual music industry conferences, has just been growing each year and judging by the speaker lineup for BIGSOUND 2015, this year could be the biggest yet.

Named as one of the 20 most influential people by industry bible Billboard, Marc Geiger is a partner and Head of Music WME Entertainment, looking after live bookings for some of the world’s biggest names including Jack White, Tony Bennett, Neil Diamond, The Flaming Lips, Jane’s Addiction, and Lady Gaga.

Meanwhile, Jessica Hopper is one of the world’s most influential music journalists. As senior editor of global music bible Pitchfork, Jessica is one of the leading female voices in the music industry, with books like The Girls Guide to Rocking’ and The First Collection of Criticism by a Living Female Rock Critic to her name.

These two industry titans will be joining previously announced keynote speeches from former Federal Arts Minister, activist, and Midnight Oil frontman Peter Garrett, and critically acclaimed rapper and activist Brother Ali, who top a bill packed to the brim with big names.
