SAFIA’s latest tune, the soulful and heartfelt ‘Embracing Me’, has been garnering serious accolades since its first spin on Triple J. It’s become the #1 most played track on the national broadcaster and amassed over 100,000 SoundCloud plays.

Meanwhile, the single managed to peak at #3 on influential blog aggregator Hype Machine as well as scoring a tweet from Hollywood actress Chloe Grace Moretz, best known for her role on 30 Rock and in the film Kick-Ass.

The band even managed to tap some notable acting talent for the ‘Embracing Me’ music video. The clip, which was directed by Jimmy Ennett of Crux Media, who were behind SAFIA’s ‘You Are The One’ clip, features the talents of David Roberts, of Home & Away and Offspring fame.

The clip depicts a star-crossed romance that transpires within the insular confines of an Amish-style commune. The video is rife with rich, eye-catching, sunny visuals that beautifully show off the scenic Canberra landscape where it was filmed.

SAFIA are currently gearing up for their first ever performance at Splendour In The Grass, which they’ll follow with a short break before heading out on the road for their final headline tour of 2015, which is set to kick off in August, with several dates already sold-out.
