If you asked us to plan our very own music festival, it would look something like Dogapalooza, the dog-friendly charity concert event, which recently announced it would be returning later this year, this time in Melbourne.

The second annual Dogaplooza festival was held in Adelaide back in March. The event, which brought together dog-lovers from around the South Australian capital, raised money for animal rescue and advocacy organisations.

The event is heading to Melbourne’s northern suburbs for the very first time this September to raise more funds for animal charities, bringing together pooch-lovers and their four-legged friends to enjoy plenty of music, food, and fun in the sun.

While it’s not yet clear just who will be playing this one-of-a-kind canine spectacle, might we suggest the organisers considering getting in touch with Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, Resin Dogs, or possibly the Baha Men?

Dog-owning music lovers looking to attend September’s Dogapalooza can head to the official Dogapalooza Facebook page for more details or you can check out highlights from the fun-filled Adelaide event in the video below.
