Heading to Splendour In The Grass but not sure how you’re supposed to make your way there? Why not do it in style? Why not do it aboard a double-decker bus run by one of Australia’s most loved homegrown bands? Why not do it on the Tame Impala Bus Experience?

Tame Impala are celebrating the success of their latest album, Currents, by giving back to the people and will be running a special Splendour bus all weekend, to and from the festival site, offering free lifts 12pm-6pm daily Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

All punters need to do is log on to the special Tame Impala Bus Experience website, head to the designated pick-up point, and board the bus for their free lift. The bus has been fitted with GPS technology, allowing fans to track its location.

The pick-up points for Tame Impala’s Splendour bus are the Byron Bay Surf Club, Brunsiwick Heads Information Centre, and of course, Splendour In The Grass. Warning: if you ditch your friends’ carpool to join the Tame Impala Bus Experience, you can expect some sabotaging of your campsite later.
