Besides their knack for crafting unforgettably pop-tastic alt-rock goodness, the reason we love Weezer so much is their memorable music videos. Ever since they first came on the scene, they’ve promoted their singles with must-see clips and their latest is no different.

The band’s hilarious video for ‘Go Away’, a surfy singalong track from the band’s most recent LP, Everything Will Be Alright in the End, sees the rock veterans lampooning popular hook-up app Tinder, which they lampoon as Winder.

The plot of the video revolved around frontman River Cuomo as he makes multiple attempts at taking the perfect Winder profile pic in order to woo the object of his affections, played by none other than Best Coast frontwoman Bethany Cosentino.

The clip was directed by Brendan Walter and Greg Yagolnitzer. Walter has previously worked on similarly irreverent and tongue-in-cheek clips for the likes of Fall Out Boy and Train, while Yagolnitzer cut his teeth as a crew member on Adult Swim’s Superjail!.
