For those uninitiated, UNDR CTRL are a collective of very talented musicians, producers, promoters and party folk who look after some of Australia’s most exciting electronic talent including Ara Koufax, Roland Tings, Total Giovanni and Wordlife just to name a tiny selection.
This Saturday the 1st of August the crew are teaming up with Oxjam to throw a huge party at Oxford Art Factory to celebrate the company’s first Birthday and a very special “party for poverty” with all proceeds going to the good people at OXJAM. Given it’s a birthday party, they’re going all out… gifts, games, dress up, surprises and a festival-sized line-up, you name it, they’ve got it.
To celebrate the 1st birth of UNDR CTRL the crew have compiled an absolute pearler of a mixtape featuring retie favourite UNDET CTRL and non-UNDER CTRL talent right now.
As the crew explain “here’s a bunch of choons we love from UNDR ctrl artists… some of which are performing at the 1st Birthday, some of them aren’t and some of them aren’t even our artists but we couldn’t resist!” Check it out below and head along to the birthday celebrations in you’re in Sydney.
