Perth-born poet and singer-songwriter James Teague has unveiled his shimmering and eye-catching new music video for his single ‘Heaven’, his first single in two years, which comes ahead of the release of his eagerly awaited sophomore album.

An undeniable unique artist in the Australian music scene, no where is Teague’s knack for crafting delicate and ethereal acoustic-based folk better encapsulated than on ‘Heaven’, which the songwriter tops off with an enchanting vocal performance.

Boasting influences such as Dylan Thomas, Hermann Hesse, and Edgar Allen Poe, it’s not hard to see why Teague’s style is so singular and why he’s able to capture such nuanced glimpses of existential angst within his music.

Teague’s new album, entitled Beyond the Melting Dawn, is slated for release in November. To celebrate the release of ‘Heaven’, Teague will be embarking on a series of tour dates throughout August. Check out his official Facebook page for more info.
