Melbourne favourites The Demon Parade command a reputation as one of the country’s hardest working bands, relentlessly gigging and and serving as mentors to many of Melbourne’s world-conquering psychedelic garage bands, of which we can tell you there are quite a few.

The band have a brand new EP they’ve titled Stone Circles, which is slated to drop Friday, 7th August, which aims to bring the band’s sound back home to those first homemade demos they forged at the turn of the decade, which got them on tours with the likes of Swervedriver and The Brian Jonestown Massacre.

The track eschew the dense, layered production of previous releases, keeping knob-twiddling to a minimum and focusing on crafting gripping, unique song structures and creating a cohesive narrative between each track to deliver what is The Demon Parade’s most fully formed release yet.

Readers can hear this fresh new EP below ahead of the band’s August tour. The band will be hitting up just about every town on the East Coast that can handle their mighty sound, which has seen them share stages with the likes of The Preatures, Something For Kate, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and more.
