Australia’s heavy bands really are the smartest guys in the room. Case in point, our friends in Dream On Dreamer have now unveiled a unique and very awesome pre-order prize for their new album, Songs of Soulitude (produced by Matt Goldman and mixed by Matt McClellan at Glow in the Dark Studios).
“We are launching pre-orders for our new album,” explains rhythm guitarist Zach Britt in a new video message to fans, which readers can check out embedded below.
“To kick things off, we are going to be selecting someone who pre-orders the album in the first week to send us in something to write a song about, which we’ll then record and send to them personally.”
“The decision of what you want to do with the song is entirely up to you, whether you want to show it to the world or keep it to yourself,” adds vocalist Marcel Gadacz. Yes, your very own song, courtesy of Dream On Dreamer.
The entire band will write and record a song on your behalf. It can be about whatever or whoever you want. Then, the only people who will ever get to hear it are you and whoever you might choose to share it with.
The band has the means to record it professionally in-house as they have a studio themselves in which they recorded their previous record ‘Loveless’ which did exceptionally well and is the main basis for the bands current fan base.
