Tame Impala have been riding a tidal wave of momentum since unveiling their third album, Currents, to widespread acclaim earlier this year. The Perth heroes have capitalised with several well-received singles and lauded festival appearances.

Their music videos, however, have been a little more hit and miss. Yes, we loved the all-puppet ”Cause I’m A Man’ music video, but we also can’t forget the other version, which was more akin to a really bad Windows ’98 screensaver.

But it looks like the Kevin Parker-led project is about to make things right with their epic-looking and frankly terrifying new music video for ‘Let It Happen’, the hypnotic lead single taken from the band’s latest record.

The band have shared a snippet from the clip via social media, promising to unveil the whole thing “soon”. The clip features a guy who may or may not be Guy Pierce losing his shit as the plane he’s on loses control. Check it out below.
