1995 was the year Australia began its long-standing love affair with Canadian trio The Tea Party. The band’s acclaimed second album, The Edges of Twilight, became their first top 10 in the country thanks to the incredible support from fans and triple j championing them.

The album was comprised of songs that became concert staples and fan favourites, such as ‘Sister Awake’, ‘The Bazaar’, ‘Fire In The Head’, and ‘Correspondences’. The album was a true realisation of the band’s deft fusion of eastern influences and rock.

Now, for the first time in Australia, The Tea Party will perform the iconic album in its entirety for fans to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The performances will also feature an intermission and second set of hits taken from the rest of their discography.

The Tea Party’s 15th tour of Australia is set to kick off this November at the Astor Theatre in Perth. Pre-sale starts 12pm Thursday, 20th August and runs till 5pm Sunday, 23rd August. General tickets are set to hit sale 9am Monday, 24th August.
