The Smith Street Band have been on a hot streak of late, particularly when it comes to the visual elements surrounding their band. We all remember that brilliant cover for their ‘Wipe That Shit-Eating Grin Off Your Punchable Face’ single.

Now, the band have unveiled a dreamy new animated music video for their new single, ‘I Scare Myself Sometimes’. The lullaby-like collaboration with Lucy Wilson of The Sugarcanes, presents the songs tenderness and heartache with some splendrous visuals.

The song itself comes off the band’s forthcoming seven-inch release, which is out digitally on 21st August and on vinyl this October via SideOneDummy. Pre-orders for The Smith Street Band’s new seven-inch will be available soon.
