15 years ago, Melbourne punk rock legends Bodyjar unleashed their influential and acclaimed sixth album, How It Works. To celebrate the milestone, the band are doing something really special and they want to get as many fans as possible drunk involved.

Bodyjar are teaming up with the crew at Melbourne’s Temple Brewing Company in Brunswick East to brew a special anniversary pale ale, aptly dubbed ‘Bodyjar Pale Ale’, to coincide with their 15-year anniversary tour and the first vinyl pressing of How It Works.

They’ll be kicking things off with a special event at Temple Brewing Company at 122 Weston St, Brunswick East at the end of this month, with plenty of entertainment in store, not the least of which includes watching the band brew beer with the Temple team.

Fans will get to meet the band and the brewer, with drinks and a Q&A throughout the day. There’ll also be a full kitchen and bar open all day, with wines, ciders, and basic spirits also available – check out the Temple Brewing website for the full menu.

You’ll also be able to give your thumbs a workout with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3, which you can play on the band’s 210″ inch projection screen upstairs, all the while rocking out to a “full blown punk rock playlist” curated by Bodyjar and the brewers.

Best of all, you’ll be able to treat yourself to a half-price pot whenever you hear the track ‘Not The Same’. If you’ve never been to Temple Brewing Company before, this is the perfect introduction. Pre-order How It Works on vinyl here now.
