We’ve written about all sorts of merch here at Tone Deaf, whether we’re speaking to the experts to see how you can make your own merch, pointing the finger at really bogan merch, or covering Katy Perry and Taylor Swift landing in hot water over merch.

We’ve also written about hilarious merch, like Peking Duk’s most excellent bumbag; ridiculously overpriced merch, like whatever the hell this was; musicians standing up to fake merch sellers and getting arrested for their trouble; and a particularly unsettling piece of merch we thought was disgusting.

However, in this particular case we’re writing about a piece of merch that we’re sure our readers and any self-respecting Australian is sure to want to add to their wardrobe and it comes courtesy of a local Melbourne band.

Dream In Colour Kidz recently made good use of their own acronym to create a line of merch tees that brand our very own Prime Minister, Tony Abbott, with the only mark that seems fitting for a man of his stature.

“We were going to wait till Monday to let the cat out of the bag, but we are just to damn excited to wait,” the band writes. “Go to our new online merch store to pick yourself up one of these straight out of the oven. All proceeds will go towards our upcoming tour.”

As readers can see below, the T-shirts feature an image of the PM with the word “DICK” emblazoned across his face in bold red lettering… you know, because that’s the name of the band and all that.

If you’re after one of Dream In Colour Kidz’s ‘DICK’ tees, head on over to their official website now. The band are selling them for a very reasonable $25 + $5 postage, along with a download of their album, with all the money going to the band’s tour.
