Multi-instrumentalist and producer Future Love Hangover (aka Jack Prest) is today sharing his stunning new single ‘Family’ a fresh cut from his upcoming album Traditional Late Night Drinking.

A warm pulsing electro gem punctuated by down tempo beats and resonating synths ‘Family’ is Future Love Hangover’s exploration of the question ‘could a computer from the future write a song with feeling, and if so, what would that song be about?’ Written from a computer’s point-of-view as it creates a story by looking through real people’s memories and lives that are stored on social media, working to understand what it means to be part of a family.

The Sydney based producer’s upcoming album Traditional Late Night Drinking promises to be “a pop-record from 30 years in the future; an album of music for robots who wish they were humans living the past.” Out October 22nd., if the upcoming LP is anything like this single we cannot wait to hear it.
