Tijuana Cartel recently announced an absolutely huge national tour, in celebration of their latest album, Psychedelicatessen. The new tour kicks off in August and will see them hitting up venues around the country.

They’ll be spreading the word about Psychedelicatessen, their LP inspired by a 1978 Double J broadcast, which detailed “a psychedelic road trip from Brisbane to Sydney”. Psychedelicatessen is the band’s ode to the play and its author, Russell Guy.

To celebrate Tijuana Cartel’s new album and tour, we’ve decided to take a look at some other concept album. Specifically, we’ve decided to get down to the bottom of this whole ‘concept’ thing and nail the 12 best concept albums of all time.
