Part record fair, part live gig, and all must-experience boutique event, At First Sight is set to return to Sydney’s Carriageworks this November for another round, this time featuring the likes of Nick Allbrook, Blank Realm, My Disco, and more.
Following an overwhelmingly successful inaugural year in 2013, At First Sight 2015 is set to kick off Saturday, 14th November with a cutting edge lineup of acclaimed bands, Sydney’s favourite DJs, and more than 100 stalls of Sydney’s best record stores, labels, and private dealers.
After catching some of the sterling lineup curated by FBi Radio’s Dusty Fingers host Marty Doyle, you can dance to some tunes from a selection of the city’s best DJs, before making your way over to one of Sydney’s most exclusive record fairs.
“Carriageworks is delighted to present the return of this unique showcase of the best in contemporary music and ideas. At First Sight brings together artists, music lovers and industry professionals to experience the most exciting players in the music industry from across Australia,” said Lisa Havilah.
At First Sight is a day dedicated to anyone who stills buys vinyl and still loves experiencing quality live music. At a time when the music industry is undergoing major change and evolution, this is a chance to celebrate everything that’s still great about being a music fan.
