Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles, the boys from Peking Duk aren’t just Australia’s consummate party animals and electronic hit-makers, they’re also a couple of pretty decent blokes, too.

They’ve recently been busying themselves with a volunteer project for Optus RockCorps, a new Optus initiative which sees Aussies from all walks of life volunteering to help their community.

During a recent appearance on Channel Nine’s Today show, Adam and Reuben issued a challenge to their mate Karl Stefanovic to get involved in the project with them.

Karl and the boys go way back, as some readers will know. Karl provided an absolutely mental intro video for the duo when they played Stereosonic last year.

So we’re thinking Karl will probably say yes to the challenge, but just in case he doesn’t, the boys already have a contingency plan in action.

While the boys originally offered to have Karl’s face tattooed on Adam’s chest if he does volunteer, Reuben says if Karl doesn’t step up, he will get a tattoo of Karl and Richard Wilkins spooning.

Adam and Reuben volunteered their time at the House With No Steps in Hurstville last week, painting the house with other RockCorps volunteers.

The boys are currently in LA filming the official music video for ‘Say My Name’ and they recently dropped an official tour video, which looked absolutely insane. Watch Peking Duk’s full appearance on Today here.
