Based in Melbourne, Dan Lethbridge has been crafting stellar roots infused folk and indie rock for quite a little while now. The release of his 2008 debut album, Dreamers of the World Unite, established Dan Lethbridge as one of the city’s most likeable and idiosyncratic songwriters.
Since the release of his debut he’s unspooled a string of equally as attention commanding releases combining to the follow up LP Oh Hawke. Now he’s gearing up to unveil Inner Western – his third full length.
Set for release on October 6 through Vitamin Records, the album was produced by Shane O’Mara (Paul Kelly, Tim Rogers) and recorded with Lethbridge’s five-piece band, The Campaigners, Inner Western has been two years in the making. Mostly recorded live under O’Mara’s direction in the producer’s famed Yikesville studio, Inner Western promises to be a sonic gem showcasing a world-class songwriter in full flight.
