Australian punk rock legends the Cosmic Psychos want you to know that there’s more to them than just “beer and pubs” and have now invited you to join them on their latest national tour so they can “check your bum for grubs”.

Yes, to further celebrate the release of the their latest album, Cum the Raw Prawn, the Cosmic Psychos are hitting the road once again to bring you their gnarly riffs, which they’ve harvested fresh from the farm just for you.

Not too long ago three-piece unloaded their hilarious, new animated music video for ‘Bum For Grubs’, which readers can check out below. It’s packed with just the sort of irreverence and tongue-in-cheek humour we’ve come to expect from the Psychos.

The iconic trio are on the road right now having kicked things off at The General in Mount Hotham before bringing the party to venues in Wollongong, Sydney, Byron Bay, Brisbane, Geelong, Ballarat, and more. Check below for all dates and details.

To celebrate the tour the band’s Ross Knight has out together his list for the Ultimate Tractor Tunes, though “Funnily enough I don’t listen to a lot of music”, Ross says, “Probably reflects in my songwriting ability and my ability to be a musician.”

The Casanovas – ‘Shake It’

I like The Casanova’s first album. That’s a great bull dozer album. When I’m getting a bit tired on the dozer, I wack The Casanova’s album on. It’s a classic get ya up and going album – it’s got a good vibe – a good work vibe to it I reckon.

QOTSA – ‘Regular John’

Queens Of The Stone Age’s first album – another real good bulldozer driving album. I listen to that a lot on the dozer.

Nirvana – ‘About A Girl’

Nirvana, Bleach – that’s more for when I’m out cutting wood with a chainsaw. I’ll have that going belting out of the ute.

Bored! – ‘Conquest’

One of my favourite songs – I used to play it before I’d go out to play football was Bored!’s ‘Conquest.’ That was a fantastic song that used to really get me up and going. It didn’t show on the stats sheet though unfortunately. I ran out with plenty of endeavour, but I don’t know where it all finished.

QOTSA – ‘Quick And To The Pointless’

Queens Of The Stone Age – their second album , Rated R, is actually a good album to listen to. There’s some songs on that I like listening to when I’m working.
