Sydney’s favourite sons, DMA’s, are set to continue their hot streak of releasing killer singles with ‘Lay Down’, which the band recently debuted in acoustic form during a session for Red Bull. The finished single will have its world premiere later today on BBC Radio 1 and you can hear a snippet below.

The longtime Aussie buzz band have been busy over the past 12 months taking that buzz and spreading it overseas, playing acclaimed gigs in Europe, the UK, and the US, garnering some rave reviews from overseas outlets as they release their self-titled EP Stateside.

They finally brought it all back home to where it started last week, playing two surprise Australian gigs at Melbourne’s Howler and The Basement in Sydney. Meanwhile, the only thing on the minds of fans is when that full-length is coming out.

As guitarist Johnny Took told Tone Deaf back in May, the band, who gained notoriety thanks to mega-singles like ‘Delete’ and ‘Laced’, are working hard on a debut album in their bedroom studio. The final product is sure to propel the three-piece to even greater heights.
