Golden Plains has always been a big affair, with the charm of a small, boutique one. But Aunty Meredith has decided to go for broke to celebrate the event’s tenth anniversary, bringing Melbourne garage legends Eddy Current Suppression Ring out of hiatus to perform.

The Victorian rockers will play a one-off show in The Sup’ on Sunday night, ten years to the day after playing the very first Golden Plains. It’s a little birthday miracle to celebrate the tenth anniversary of what’s become one of Australia’s best-loved festival experiences.

If you want to be there for the birthday festivities, there’s only one way to get a ticket and that’s the annual Golden Plain ticket ballot, which is now officially open. Enter the ballot via the official Golden Plains website before 10:10pm Tuesday, 20th October.

The Ballot ensures the majority of tickets go to subscribers, before public sale. There’s two rounds, one launching about 14th October for existing subs and one a week later for newer ones. Ballot winners are given a Golden Code and have seven days to purchase up to three tickets.
