You can now start counting the sleeps till New Year’s Eve and have it not be (totally) weird. The organisers of Falls and Southbound festivals certainly know it, so they’ve now announced a whole raft of new acts set to join the lineups of both events.
Organisers have kicked things off with UK indie favourites The Wombats, who were in the country a few months back. They’ll be returning Down Under to hit up Southbound, as well as the Marion Bay and Byron Bay legs of Falls Festival.
Fans heading down to Marion Bay and Byron Bay will also see performances from the likes of Wavves and Leon Bridges, but the big surprise is for fans heading down to Byron. The festival’s full New Year’s Eve lineup has now been announced in full.
In addition to Wombats, Wavves, and Leon Bridges, Byron punters will be partying it up and welcoming the new year with the likes of Peking Duk, Miami Horror, Tijuana Cartel, Bootleg Rascal, Goons of Doom, Spirit Of Akasha, and Bullhorn.
Of course, tickets to the Lorne instalment of Fall Festival 2015/2016 have already sold out, in keeping with tradition, but you can check out all the dates and ticketing details for the event’s remaining legs and Southbound down below.
