We all know it’s hard out there for an up-and-coming independent musician and in many cases, even ones signed to labels, but at the opposite end of the spectrum, the one where the superstars reside, things have to be pretty sweet, right?

The answer is yes, as these figures recently tallied by the Daily Mail illustrate. Despite a combined age of 285, the Rolling Stones earn more in ticket sales from each city they play than any other act, and if you haven’t guessed, it’s a lot of money.

According to the countdown, The Rolling Stones manage to bring in more than $7.5 million per gig from ticket sales alone, beating out the likes of Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Fleetwood Mac, and Bette Midler, who round out the top five.

Swift isn’t exactly crying poor, though. The 25-year-old makes an average of just under $5 million per concert and Aussies 5 Seconds of Summer managed to find a place in the list, too. They’re ranked 17th, with earnings of $653,233 per show.

According to the Daily Mail, the Stones’ success is partly due to the high prices seats at one of their shows command. An average Stones ticket will run you $172.25, compared to the cheapest average ticket price, which is $45.00 to see rapper Nicki Minaj.
