After much eager anticipation, the first round of Falls Festival 2015 sideshows have finally been announced and they’re sure to elicit roars of joy from anyone who can’t make it down to their local Falls leg this year as well as any Disclosure of Foals super-fans.

As Tone Deaf recently reported, this year’s incredible Falls Festival lineup just keeps on expanding. Organisers recently added UK indie rockers The Wombats, homegrown party maestros Peking Duk, buzzed-about soul up-and-comer Leon Bridges, and more.

Meanwhile, there’s plenty of sideshow revelry to enjoy, kicking off with one very special appearance from Disclosure, who’ll be setting fire to Melbourne Festival Hall on Thursday, 7th January, celebrating the release of their sophomore album, Caracal.

There’ll also be appearances from two of the biggest bands ever to come out of the UK indie scene – Bloc Party, featuring their new lineup, and the one and only Foals, who’ll be channeling the momentum of their acclaimed new record, What Went Down.

You’ll also be able to catch the experimental sounds of Django Django, guitar mastery from Gary Clark Jr, a delicious slice of UK pop from Oh Wonder, always delightful Scandinavian queen Elliphant, LA native BORNS, and Irish favourite Soak

Tickets to the Lorne instalment of Fall Festival 2015/2016 have already sold out, in keeping with tradition, but you can check out all the dates and ticketing details for the event’s remaining legs and Southbound over here.
