After toiling away at Damien Gerards Studios in Balmain and Dulwich Hill’s infamous ‘The Surgery’ with Russell Pilling, Jack T Wotton has finally unveiled his self-produced debut single, ‘Never Again’.

The track bears all the hallmarks of Wotton’s concise and driven songwriting, telling the tale of another lonely Saturday night, “crawling over asphalt streets down and into and out of the quarries formed from Inner-west developments”.

The Cohen-esque story recounts another night that took a U-turn, phoning a friend, full of regrets, looking for a place to sleep. The best he could hope for is a couch, but an alley is where his destiny lies.
