One of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful rappers of his generation, Kendrick Lamar is set to touch down in Australia this March for two very special arena shows and a headlining performance at Byron Bay Bluesfest 2016.

The seven-time Grammy Award nominated artist will be taking over Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on 21st March and Sydney’s Allphones Arena on 23rd March, with tickets for both shows set to go on sale 9am Monday, 19th October.

Meanwhile, Byron Bay Bluesfest organisers are excited to announce that the Compton native will be headlining the opening night of Bluesfest 2016 on Thursday, 24th March, joining a massive lineup that already features Noel Gallagher, Tom Jones, and more.

These shows will be the platinum-selling rapper’s first Australian appearances since he toured on the back of his widely successful album Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City back in 2012 and more recently as a special guest on Eminem’s Rapture tour last year.
