After months of sleepless nights and nail-biting, hard rock, heavy metal, and punk fans across Australia can finally rejoice. The Soundwave 2016 lineup has finally arrived and it’s truly glorious.
Organisers have been drip-feeding acts to fans for a few months now, unveiling big names, up-and-comers, local heroes, and underground legends like Bring Me The Horizon, Lordi, Northlane, Failure, and Moose Blood.
There was also much written about the elusive headliner, with Maddah promising that they would be so massively brilliant they would quickly sell out the festival dates and later claiming that they had never played the festival before.
Having experimented with a two-day format for their last instalment, Soundwave Festival 2016 will see Australia’s premier hard rock and heavy metal event return to the single-day format, hitting up venues in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.
